FUTURE ELIGIBILITY

Basic Eligibility Requirements When Funding Is Available

WYO HELP Payment Services uses the same basic eligibility standards wherever WYO HELP directly provides financial assistance. The amount and types of assistance available may vary by county and available funding.

1

Live in Niobrara County

You must be a resident of Niobrara County to receive assistance through this county program.

2

Meet the Income Limit

Your household's countable income must be at or below the current CSBG income limit for your household size.

3

Provide Required Documentation

You will need information that verifies your identity, residency, household members, household income, and the expense for which you are requesting assistance.

4

Request an Eligible Service

Your request must fall within a service category currently funded for Niobrara County.

You Do Not Have to Prove an Emergency

If you otherwise qualify, WYO HELP does not require you to exhaust your savings, prove that you cannot pay the expense yourself, or apply to other assistance programs before being eligible for Payment Services.

Important Program Rules

$1,000 Household Limit

A household may receive no more than $1,000 in combined WYO HELP Payment Services during a single program year.

Eligibility Does Not Guarantee Payment

Assistance depends on available county funding, funded services, applicable limits, required documentation, and whether the requested payment is allowable.

Zero-Income Households

If everyone in the household has zero income, a zero-income declaration is required and must be renewed every 60 days while the entire household remains without income.
