Young men from Torrington High School helped move our walk in cooler. We received a walk in cooler as a donation from the Food Bank of Wyoming. It was a donation between $7,000 and $10,000 value.

We ran a test on our new food pantry in November. We served 21 families. We later opened on a regular basis in January.

We received a grant from the Wyoming Community Foundation which enabled us to pay our rent that first year.

We received a grant of $10,000 from Goshen County Economic Development. This grant enabled us to support our initial CSBG grant which was a reimbursable grant of $77,000.

One of our first donations. This donation from the Goshen Rooster Boosters of $500 to Main Street Market and Kelly's Super enabled us to start filling the shelves of our new food pantry.

Volunteers unloading the shelves that were donated to us by a Kmart that had closed in Havre Montana. Our executive director knew a pastor there who knew we were looking for shelves. They arranged for friends to transport the shelves to us. A local donor paid for their fuel.

We posted on Facebook that 12.1% of the population in Goshen County was food insecure. That number has now dropped to about 11%.

Our first Community Action Board took their places May 3rd, 2018. Those members were Carlos Saucedo, Laitaizia Bechtel, and Diane Nye.

This is technically before Goshen HELP opened an office, but the mobile food pantries were a part of our first involvement with bringing together community partners to meet a need.
