New Subgrantees are encouraged to start simple and smaller to learn the grant first. The options can be overwhelming. It is better to learn how to administer the grant and then start expanding the services you offer so long as they support who you are as an entity.

The following is information about Community Initiatives. First year subgrantees will not be considered for a Community Imitative. Subgrantees would coordinate in Partnership with WYO HELP to administer any selected Community Initiative. Funding for initiatives is often for the planning process. Funds cannot be used to purchase property or for property improvements.
