Become a CSBG Subgrantee
The Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) supports local organizations working to reduce poverty and improve stability for low-income individuals and families. WYO HELP invites qualified organizations in Carbon, Crook, Goshen, Niobrara, Washakie, and Weston counties to apply as subgrantees.
Who Can Apply?
- 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations
- Faith-based groups
- Units of local government
- Tribal or community-based organizations
What Services Are Funded?
Programs should align with CSBG focus areas, including:
- Employment & Job Readiness
- Education & Youth Support
- Financial Literacy & Tax Prep
- Housing Stability & Rent Assistance
- Emergency Needs (Food, Utilities, Transportation)
- Health, Nutrition, & Counseling
- Senior & Disability Support
- Community Engagement & Civic Involvement
Subgrantee Requirements
All subgrantees must:
- Serve individuals/families at or below 125% of the federal poverty level. May be up to 200%
- Submit a complete application package
- Register in SAM.gov and obtain a UEI
- Sign a subrecipient agreement with WYO HELP
- Track and report client outcomes
- Submit financial and programmatic reports regularly
- Participate in monitoring and evaluation
- Maintain documentation for client eligibility and services
Timeline
Applications open July 10th, 2025 and are due by September 5th, 2025. Selected subgrantees will begin services on or aboutOctober 1, 2025.
Support & Training
WYO HELP will provide onboarding, reporting tools, and technical assistance to all selected partners.
