Board Member Requirements
WYO HELP Board members review the organization's governing documents and complete required acknowledgments and disclosures when they join the Board and annually thereafter.
New Board members: Review the documents below and complete the Board Member Certification upon appointment.
Current Board members: Complete the certification during WYO HELP's annual certification period.

NEW BOARD MEMBER ONBOARDING
Start With Official Board Orientation
Welcome to the WYO HELP Board of Directors. New members complete the Official Board Orientation as part of onboarding rather than waiting for the next annual certification period.
The guided orientation covers WYO HELP governance, fiduciary duties, CSBG and tripartite governance, ROMA, financial and program oversight, Executive Director oversight, ethics, confidentiality, cybersecurity and practical Board decision-making.
Complete the orientation with the Board Chair, Executive Director or designated orientation lead. The final certification creates an official completion record and PDF for WYO HELP's governance files.
After orientation, new members should also complete the current Board Member Certification below and select New Board Member when asked for the certification type.
